Thank you for your inquiry regarding Open Door Baptist Church Child Development Center. We hope we get to meet you soon! Open Door Child Development Center, a “Type III” center, is a ministry of Open Door Baptist Church, Denham Springs, Louisiana. We are the largest Type III (3) childcare center in Livingston Parish providing care for children 8 weeks – 3 years of age! We strive to teach, train, and care for children daily! Our goal is to foster spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and cognitive growth in your child! Curriculum
Our center incorporates two curriculums to encourage the learning of all students.
It is our desire that all children (K-2, K-3, and K-4 classes) be at school by 8:30 each morning to be ready when class begins.
The Creative Curriculum incorporates big ideas, varied and engaging activities, and a sense of continuity as a way to stimulate students, teachers, and even families
The A Beka Book curriculum and workbooks, written from a Christian perspective, are used as the primary curriculum. Workbook fees are due at the beginning of each school year.
